The G-Force DDL measures and logs the g-force of a racing dragster every 20 milliseconds for up to 5 seconds. The resulting data can improve students’ understanding of design as never before.
Using this data tool is easy – attach it to a dragster using an adhesive tab, turn it on, run the race as normal, and plug the data logger into the computer. The included G-Force DDL software presents the data collected – acceleration, velocity, speed, and g-force – in graphical and tabular formats.
The starter set includes the G-Force DDL module, two cell batteries, 2 meter USB data cable, Windows XP-compatible CD-ROM, 12" piece of Dual Lock, and user guide. Requires one available USB port.
G-Force DDL Features
- Collects and graphs data to show:
- Acceleration vs. Time
- Velocity vs. Time
- Speed vs. Time
- G-force vs. Time
- Simple USB port computer connection
- Easy to install and use
Note: Ordering extra G-Force DDL modules enables multiple students to collect racing data simultaneously. These additional modules still require the use of the data cable and software from the G-Force DDL Starter Set.
